For The Events Calendar
Give The Events Calendar superpowers.
KeepsYa adds registration, payments, rosters and day-of check-in to The Events Calendar, on your own WordPress site, with no per-registration fees, and it never depends on TEC to do it.
The bottom line
If you already run The Events Calendar, KeepsYa is the fastest way to actually sell and run those events: families register and pay (card or cash), you manage rosters and check people in by QR. The free engine charges no per-registration fees, and because KeepsYa keeps its own data and never writes to The Events Calendar, a TEC update can’t break you.
What KeepsYa adds to The Events Calendar
Registration & payments
Turn any calendar event into something families can register and pay for, card or offline, no per-registration fees.
Family & multi-child sign-up
One parent registers several children in a couple of taps, with saved players and accounts.
Rosters & QR check-in
Per-event rosters, CSV export, and QR/tap check-in with no-show tracking and per-day camp attendance.
Offline money, built in
Cash, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App and check with mark-paid, the way camps and clubs actually collect.
Recurring sessions & camps
Daily/weekly/monthly sessions and multi-day camps with per-day capacity, beyond a single event.
Sell ahead & grow (Pro)
Punch cards, prepaid packages, account credit and a real-money affiliate flywheel that turns families into promoters.
Safe by design: it can’t break your site
Your own data tables
Registrations, rosters and payments live in your own wp_keepsya_* tables, never inside The Events Calendar.
One adapter
Every call into The Events Calendar goes through a single bridge using only its documented functions, one file to maintain.
Version guard
If The Events Calendar is missing or changes, KeepsYa pauses gracefully; your site stays up and your data is untouched.
Pricing: the engine is free (no per-registration fees). Pro adds punch cards, packages, credit & the affiliate flywheel from $24/mo or $149/yr (regular $29/$199), or $399 lifetime (first 100). See full pricing → · KeepsYa vs Event Tickets Plus →
The Events Calendar + KeepsYa: FAQ
Do I need The Events Calendar Pro?
No. KeepsYa works with the free The Events Calendar. The Events Calendar Pro adds calendar views and display features; KeepsYa adds registration, payments, rosters and check-in. They do different jobs and work fine together; you only need The Events Calendar Pro if you want its extra calendar layouts.
Does KeepsYa require The Events Calendar?
KeepsYa works best alongside The Events Calendar (it adds registration, payments and rosters to your existing events), and it keeps all of its own data so it never depends on TEC’s internals.
Will KeepsYa break if The Events Calendar updates?
No. KeepsYa never writes to The Events Calendar’s data, routes every call through one adapter, and version-guards on load. A TEC update cannot corrupt KeepsYa’s data or take your site down.
Is KeepsYa affiliated with The Events Calendar?
No. KeepsYa is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Events Calendar or its makers. The name is used only to describe compatibility.
How is this different from Event Tickets Plus?
Event Tickets Plus sells tickets; it stops at the ticket. KeepsYa runs the whole program: family accounts, rosters, per-day check-in, offline money, punch cards, packages and account credit, with a free engine and a flat $149/yr Pro. See the full KeepsYa vs Event Tickets Plus comparison.
Does it work with Events Calendar Pro?
Yes. KeepsYa complements the free The Events Calendar and its Pro features through documented template tags and hooks.
How much does it cost?
The KeepsYa engine is free, with no per-registration fees. Pro adds punch cards, packages, credit and the affiliate flywheel: founders pricing $24/mo or $149/yr (regular $29/$199), or $399 lifetime for the first 100 buyers.
